Purge Techniques

Graco makes spray guns with three types of purging systems:

• Air Purge Guns send a blast of compressed air through the gun when the trigger is released, which blows out any residual chemical left in the mix chamber.
• Liquid Purge Guns send a dose of ClearShot flushing fluid into the mix chamber when the trigger's released, cleaning out residual material from the mix chamber.
• Mechanical Purge Guns feature a mechanical rod that's actuated through the chamber when the trigger's released, pushing any residual material out the gun's tip.
